The Florence School District Three Cares Campaign allows district employees to support our community by donating to one or more of the four non-profit organizations participating in this year’s campaign. More than one million people in the United States get cancer each year. The American Cancer Society is the nationwide, community-based, voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem by preventing cancer, saving lives, and diminishing suffering from cancer, through research, education, advocacy, and service.

The mission of the Florence 3 Emergency Assistance Fund is to help members of the Florence 3 community (students and staff) during unforeseen circumstances that call for immediate action and an urgent need for assistance or relief.


March of Dimes

15 million babies are born prematurely each year around the world; 1 million will die. The March of Dimes Foundation funds programs and research to address every aspect of the fight to end premature birth, as well as birth defects and other critical health issues that threaten our babies.

AHA

Heart disease is the No. 1 killer in the world. Stroke ranks second globally and is a leading cause of severe disability. The American Heart Association wants everyone to understand the threat – and to know that cardiovascular diseases and stroke are largely preventable. The mission of the American Heart Association is to build healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke. The AHAprovides public health education, CPR training, and science-based treatment guidelines to healthcare professionals. They educate lawmakers, policymakers and the public to advocate for changes to protect and improve the health of our communities.
